Our
new Small Projects Section features projects that cost $500
or under. Together with interested Children
International sponsors, we aim to raise funds for things
like beds, tables, chairs, supplies, and more for needy families
around the world. If you have an idea for a future small project,
please email Anastasia Yecke at ayecke@hotmail.com

Project #7: Meet Innocent Chalwe
Mwanza of Zambia
Innocent
Chalwe Mwanza is
sponsored by Mike Epler of Cal. USA.
Mike
writes:
As I sit here thinking about my upcoming birthday,
August 16th, and the past 45 years of my life, I am very grateful
for all I have received from my parents, family, and friends.
Each birthday the question comes up what would you like! This
year I would like a donation to be made to Aura’s House
Small Project 7.
My
sponsored child, Innocent Chalwe Mwanza, age 8, who lives in
Zambia with his mother, Esnart, his siblings Mathews, Alice,
Christon, and Dainess. His father Festus is deceased. Innocent
enjoys playing with his friends singing, dancing, and playing
soccer. With this small project, Innocent and his family will
no longer have to sleep and sit on their concrete floor as we
will fund beds and living room furniture.

In the spirit of Ana's 30.30 birthday donations I am presenting
the $4 for $5 birthday matching. For each Small Project 7
donation beginning/ending in 45 I will add in $1 for each
$4, making it a $5 donation. So in the end I will add in $125
making the $500 Small Project 7 into $625 and with my Countrywide
matching of $125 it will increase to $750!! So remember to
make you donations begin/end in 45 for Small Project 7!
I
would like to thank all the Aura’s House donors who
help with Small Project 7, as Innocent would say in his native
language Nyanja, sukani bwino, stay well!
Sincerely,
Mike Epler

In 2005 Children International launched an
online fundraising tool inspired
by Aura's House called SponsorThon. Since then, it has now grown
and evolved into the Lift One Project.
Just $22 a month will help a child get basic medical and dental
care, schooling, clothing, and more. Learn
