Small
Project #19 launched May 25, 2008 and completed on
July 28, 2008:
Our
goal was to give Daniela Feliz Cuevas (7), and her
family of The Dominican Republic the following gifts:
a refrigerator, a chest of drawers, an atlas, and
a dictionary. We raised $500. All
donations are 100% US Tax Deductible.

The
fundraiser for Small Project #19 is
Heather LaBonte of Bristol, UK.
Heather writes,
"I am sponsor of two children through Children International. Before these two children I also sponsored two other children at different times over the past 16 years...
Children International wrote each child's project office and they had their field workers see what each family could really use. I just received a letter from them regarding Daniela's family. They are in great need of a refrigerator to keep food fresh and a chest of drawers.

Daniela lives with her mother,father, 2 sisters and a brother in one multi-use room that is sectioned off with a blanket. They get water from a neighbor's faucet. Her father is a daily worker and her mother is a maid. The family's monthly income is roughly $100 (usd) per month. Daniela is turning 8 years old on September 4th.
I would like to raise $500 for them to receive a refrigerator, chest of drawers, atlas and dictionary."
