Countrywide Financial Corp
Countrywide Financial Corp came through with their $800 matching donation for my original donation in December, so we have a big boost on the Manila School Project!! Corporate Matching is a great way to double your donation, direct the donation by noting "Aura's House" on your corporate forms to your company. Some require you to make the original check out to their foundation others get a confirmation form sent to Children International. It may take time to get to Aura's House but it is worth it! Remember every dollar counts.
Mike Epler (Countrywide Employee)

Anne U.
This $47 donation is in memory of my father Henry, who died September 12, 2005, the day after his 75th birthday. He was always very generous to children; he would want these children to have beds to sleep in. With Anastasia's dollar-for-dollar match, that should finish this small project so those children can start sleeping in beds and not on the floor!

Toot for Tots Fundraiser:
Thanks to everyone from the William Paterson University Community who attended our Baja Fresh Mexican Grill Fundraiser in Wayne, NJ. Over 200 people showed up and ate close to $800 worth of food. Grand total is $255 with others who were unable to attend pledging additional donations in the days ahead. Thank you!

The Epler Family
After getting a leave of absence from the family for 5 weeks, I went to Tanzania and met Kristen at Cross Cultural Solutions and worked with her at Maua Hills Training Center. When I returned home and checked on the status of the Rojas Project I thought it would be a great finish to the summer to move the project to it's end goal and help the team move forward with the next project. It was great working with Kristen in Tanzania and think highly of her and the great Aura's House team! Keep up the great work! Our whole family looks forward to seeing pictures of the new digs!

Mike, Helene, Danielle, and Alexandra Epler

Great job Kristen and team! Good luck!

Just got back from Honduras...
This is Anastasia. I just got back from a week in Tegucigalpa, working at a free clinic for the poor. Now more than ever do I understand the urgent need for adequate housing in developing countries. Children who live in leaky homes with dirt floors are exposed to so many life-threatening diseases. Luckily thanks to all our donors there is about to be one less family at risk! As of July 6th we have less than $500 to go until a sturdy, safe concrete house can be built for the Rojas family. THANK YOU!

Courtenay the Super Donor!
Let's hear it for Courtenay and her FIFTH donation for the Rojas family's new house! Thank you so very much for your continued support.

I served a mission for my church in Honduras, and it is very sad to see the current living condition of the majority of the people down there. I helped build a house for a family in one of the areas I served in, and I know the joy a simple house can bring to these families. Good luck and thank you for your efforts in helping out this family in Honduras!
